When Tan Shen was dumped by her boyfriend, she decided to soothe her heartbreak by stopping off in a KFC restaurant located.

After enjoying one meal, she decided to stick around and spent an entire week moping in the fast food restaurant.

According to Yahoo! News, she hadn’t intended on staying that long. It just sort of happened.

I hadn’t planned on staying there long, I just wanted some chicken wings. But once I got in there and started eating I decided I needed time to think.

Employees in the 24-hour restaurant naturally grew concerned and enquired as to whether everything was alright, which Shen insisted it was.

When we asked her if she was ok, she said she was and just needed time to think. And then asked for another box of chicken wings with extra large fries.

After spending a week there and taking time off work, Shen eventually decided to leave when local media showed up and tried to write about her. But most importantly, the chicken was growing tiresome.

I was getting sick of the taste of chicken so there was no point in staying there anymore.
